The following members of the parish and school community work in conjunction with our Pastor, Father Joseph Watson, President, Ms. Roselee Maddaloni, and Principal Mr. Kyle McDonough in exploring future opportunities for our school:
Anthony Conti
Tony has served on our Advisory Board since its founding in 2013, and has been the Chairman since 2016.
After graduating from Saint Joseph’s University Tony taught religion at Cardinal Dougherty High School while attending Temple University for an MBA. He then spent 36 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, 29 years as a partner, finishing his career as the Managing Partner of the Philadelphia office.
Since his retirement in 2009, Tony serves on a number of public and private company Boards, as well as a number of nonprofit boards. Most notably he is the Lead Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for AMETEK , a S&P 500 public company, and as Chairman of the Board of the Philadelphia Foundation. He has received a number of awards and recognition for his work in the Community and education area. Most notably the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Distinguished Graduate Award, Boy Scouts of America Learning for Life Award. Tony was also named a Temple University Fox School of Business Centennial Honoree.
Tony and his wife Linda have been members of our parish for over 20 years. They have three married children and 10 grandchildren. Three of their grandchildren attend Nativity of Our Lord School.
Phil Jaurigue
Mr. Phillip Jaurigue began his career in private industry supporting Navy shipbuilding and aircraft programs. In 1989, he founded Sabre Systems, Inc. and has served as its chairman since its inception. Mr. Jaurigue is a member of several organizations including The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the National Defense Industrial Association, Neumann University, The Fox School of Business, and the Katlin Murphy Foundation.
Mr. Jaurigue’s commitment to exhibiting the entrepreneurial spirit earned him the prestigious Ernst & Young Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for IT solutions. In recognition of his leadership role in the Delaware Valley, the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League invited Mr. Jaurigue to its ownership group.
Mr. Jaurigue is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Temple University in Computer Information Science.
Kathleen Ganster
Kathy Ganster is a retired educator from the Archdiocesan Schools. She has served as a teacher, an elementary school principal, and as Director of Elementary Educational Services in the Office of Catholic Education. She presently is an Adjunct Professor at Holy Family University. She is a product of Catholic Schools and holds a BA degree from LaSalle University and a MA from Chestnut Hill College. This is her sixth year serving on the Nativity of Our Lord School Advisory Board.
Ann Menna
Ann Menna, Deputy Secretary, Office for Catechetical Formation in the Archdiocesan Secretariat for Catholic Education. Ann is a Catholic school teacher in background, having taught on the primary, secondary and collegiate levels. Ann holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Gwynedd Mercy University and a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. She is married to Frank who together has four grown children and five grandchildren. When she is not busy working in the Lord’s vineyards, she enjoys gardening at her home, traveling with her husband and most of all, being with her family.
Joseph Velten
Joe Velten and his wife Rosemary have been members of Nativity of Our Lord parish since the early 1970s. Their three sons are graduates of Nativity of Our Lord School, as are four of their grandchildren. Joe is a retired English teacher who spent his entire 52-year teaching career at Archbishop Wood High School. Joe is a graduate of LaSalle University and Villanova University. Joe and his wife Rosemary are both graduates of Catholic elementary schools, high schools, and colleges, and are firm believers in the faith-centeredness and academic strengths of Catholic Education.
Ryan Patrick
Ryan is a proud alumnus of Nativity of Our Lord School, graduating in 2005 then attending La Salle College High School for high school, and ultimately enrolling at Penn State to obtain a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ryan started his career as a healthcare strategist with Deloitte Consulting and currently serves as Director of Business Development for INOLEX, a Philadelphia-based personal care ingredients manufacturer.
Ryan is passionate about giving back to the community, having served as Executive Director of Penn State’s THON, and while with Deloitte served as national engagement manager for the education-focused non-profit City Year. Recently married, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Emily, and their dog Goose. He is honored to have the opportunity to serve as a member of the board and looks forward to giving back to the School that gave him the foundation for future success.
Wes Mallon
Wes and his wife Leah came to Nativity of Our Lord Parish in 1999 and were married in Nativity in 2000. They have two daughters and one son. The oldest is a graduate of Nativity and currently attends Villa Joseph Marie High School. The others are currently attending Nativity. Wes is a Business Development Manager for Colours Inc. He coaches ice hockey for the Philadelphia Revolution in Warwick. Wes has been a product of 12 years of Catholic education, attending St John of the Cross in Roslyn and Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote. Wes and his family moved in 2016 from Warminster to Richboro. In a highly touted school district, Wes and Leah have kept their children in Catholic schools. They believe strongly in the faith and academic strengths that a Catholic education can deliver to our youth.
Mik Gregoire
Mik and Peg Gregoire have been residents of Warminster and members of Nativity of Our Lord parish since 1977. Their four daughters graduated from Nativity; Peg taught 1st Grade at Nativity for 25 years; Mik served 4 years as President of the Nativity Home and School Association. Mik is retired from KenCrest, a faith-based organization and the largest agency in the Delaware Valley providing community-based services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism. He worked at KenCrest for 46 years, serving as Director of Children’s Services, Director of Grantwriting and Fundraising, and Director of Marketing. He holds degrees in Child Psychology from the University of South Dakota and Vanderbilt University. Mik looks forward to continuing his lifetime of commitment to children through service on the Nativity of Our Lord School Advisory Board.
Andrew Donchez:
Andrew is an employee benefits consultant at Trion Group in Conshohocken, PA. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management from Temple University and has earned the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation. He is a graduate of Nativity and Holy Ghost Prep. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys mentoring and tutoring youth, training for powerlifting competitions, and traveling.
Rick Kiernan
Rick and his wife, Susan are members of Nativity of Our Lord parish. Susan’s Daughters are graduates of Nativity of Our Lord School, and their Grandchildren, Savanna, and Jonathan are current students at Nativity.
Rick is a retired Army Colonel who spent 26-years in military service including assignments teaching High School and College ROTC. Later, Rick spent 16 years as a Senior Vice President for Strategic Communications in the Corporate world. Rick is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and the University of South Carolina.
He and his wife, Susan are both graduates of Catholic elementary schools and high schools. They are dedicated to sustaining the academic values of Nativity and inculcating those religious principles that will build character for the students of the Next Generation.
Laura Lasky
Laura has worked in Catholic schools for the past 17 years and is a passionate advocate for Catholic education. Fifteen of those years were spent at Villa Joseph Marie High School where she worked as an English teacher and then as the Director of Admissions.
She and her husband Tom are proud graduates of Villanova University, where they were married in 2004. They have two children at Nativity who are active in CYO sports, PAWS, and orchestra.
Jeffrey Mills
Jeffrey D. Mills is the Chief Investment Officer at BMT Wealth Management. With more than 15 years of experience in investment analysis, advisory, and strategy, he is responsible for investments across BMT’s Wealth Management platform, including asset allocation and investment research. Joining BMT in 2019, he previously served as Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Strategist for PNC Financial Services Group. Prior to this position, he was Chief Investment Strategist for PNC’s Hawthorn Group.
Jeff is a CNBC Contributor providing expert financial insights into national discussions on economic matters, regularly appearing on shows like Squawk Box, Power Lunch and Fast Money.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K., and a Master of Science in management studies – with a concentration in asset management and investments – from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Jeff is a member of the Investment Committee at LaSalle College High School where he oversees the school’s endowment. He is also an advisory board member at the Johns Hopkins Lyme Disease Research Center.
Maureen Cunningham-Strong
Maureen Cunningham-Strong is a former member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish and an alumnus of Nativity of Our Lord School, graduating in 1976. She was active at Nativity during her time here, running CYO for over 20 years and being a Eucharistic minister.
